The video is structured around the principle of folding as both spatial and temporal transformation. Geometrically reduced visual structures unfold through slow, controlled movements that are perceived less as narrative action than as continuous formal change. Folding appears not only as a physical operation, but as a conceptual model for transitions between surface, volume, and pictorial space. The temporal organization of the sequences follows a calm, rhythmic logic in which repetition and minimal variation function as central perceptual strategies. Sound and image are closely aligned without becoming illustrative; instead, they form a shared field of resonance in which movement becomes perceptible as a gradual shift in tension, orientation, and spatial legibility. From an interpretive perspective, the video can be understood as an investigation of pictorial space and materiality. Visual folding produces temporary interior and exterior spaces as well as shifting relations between foreground and background. Perception thus appears as a process of continuous reorganization of form and space. The loop structure stabilizes this process as a cyclical experience in which the beginning and end of transformation remain indeterminate. Folded Four Times operates at the intersection of sculptural thinking and the moving image.
